The Laws of Lunarclan
Lunarclan prides itself on discipline, loyalty, and intelligence. The Leader rules with an iron paw and has little tolerance for opposition. These laws are absolute, and breaking any of them is a bad idea. OOC Laws Post Length. Your posts must be a minimum of two paragraphs with five sentences each. Failure to do this will result in a reminder and a request to lengthen the post in question. If you don't comply the thread will be locked. Repeat offenses can get your character kicked out. Activity. There will be periodic activity checks, probably once every two months. Failure to respond to two in a row without reason will get your character kicked out. Begging for Rank. Don't do it. Just don't. It's a surefire way not to get the rank, and continued begging will result in your character being stuck as Filth. OOC versus IC. These two things should not mingle. OOC issues should not be brought IC, meaning if you know something your character doesn't they can't magically learn it. If you do this your character can be kicked out. IC disputes should stay IC. An bickering as a result of RP will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

IC Laws Things Needing Permission Mating. The Leader is the only one with the right to mate without permission. All other members must gain permission either IC or by PMing the Leader. You will need to include why this would benefit the clan, along with anything else the Leader asks for. Penalties for mating without permission: -Demotion to Filth -Death if it was rape -Kits being taken from mother Leaving. The Leader, again, is the only one allowed to leave on a whim. Others must ask ICly or via PM. The reason for leaving must be given. Penalties for leaving without permission: -Demotion to filth -Exile -Death

Things Regarding Conduct Knowing your Place. Never act like you have a higher rank than you do. Don't act cocky. Don't flaunt your rank. Don't use your rank as a means of getting what you want. And NEVER speak against the Leader. Any of these will get your ear ripped off, or demoted to Filth if it persists. Fighting. Spars are fine. Fighting to settle a dispute or to kill is not. Problems should be solved peacefully to maintain the bond between clan members. If you're having a problem with a fellow feline, consult a Mediator. They're there to settle disputes. Fighting a clan member will earn you a nick in your right ear, death if you killed someone. Sucking Up. Don't do it. Asskissing and brown nosing are not to be used, especially not to get what you want. Work for what you want, or ask permission. Sucking up is a surefire way not to get what you want. Suck-ups are identified as having a nick in their left ear. Caterwauling. It's loud, annoying, and unnecessary unless you're the Leader calling a clan meeting. Caterwauling will get you nothing but a firm bop on the head. The only exception to this is if there's an emergency.

Things Regarding Acceptance Who's Accepted? Any type of feline, whether they're housecats or wild species. Larger species of cat are always used as boarder guards and escorts. Who's not? Dogs. Cats will not tolerate any kind of canine on their turf. Rodents and small animals come into the clan at their own peril. They are tasty. Humans are also not allowed. These are feral cats that despise humans. Kittypets are usually frowned upon as well, since they're notoriously inept at the skills needed to live in the wild. If you've been stray for at least a year, though, you're in the clear. Boarders. Those seeking acceptance are only allowed to come when the boarders are open. Come when they're closed and you'll be chased out as an intruder. Similarly, if you cross the boarder line before a boarder guard allows you to, you are an intruder. Stay on the outside of the boarders and call for a boarder guard. How to get accepted. First put (Acceptance) in your thread title. Failure to do so will mark you as an intruder. Secondly, sit outside the boarder line and call for a boarder guard. They will then come and ask you various questions. Answer them honestly, and if your answers are good you will be allowed inside the boarders. However, you aren't allowed into the second ring, where the clan resides. To do that, you must be seen by the Leader and officially accepted. Time as a Newcomer. For the first few months in Lunarclan, you're not an official member. You will be followed by a Mediator at all times. This cat is to be used as a means of getting to know the members of your clan. It is there for your protection, as some clan members are hostile to outsiders. When you're a Newcomer your job is to make friends and find your niche in the clan. After some time, you will begin training for the rank best suited to your personality and build.
